'In the Mix' DJ Battle Rules and Guidelines

Free and anyone can enter the battle

DMC format. You will get one three minute routine that is judged by a panel of DJ's.

Contestants must bring their own records

Vinyl only. You will not be allowed to use CDJ's or software programs (serato)

The Lab will provide the DJ equipment. Two technique 1200's, Vestax 05 or 07 mixer and Shure M-447 needles.

Cash prize for first place. Second and third place prizes TBA.

Registration deadline is August 15th (day before event). No exceptions.

Battle begins at 9:45pm so make sure to be ready and present for competition one hour prior.
